Steering through flooded streets,
In heavy downpour, with winds
Strong enough to knockdown trees,
And cold enough to send chills
And quiver through bone and ribs;
Her embrace and bliss is the fix;
Perched on a wall, by the sea
Clung together tightly, soaked wet,
In the rain fall, blessed and free;
As thunder struck and waves sped,
Caught in Nature's utopian whelm,
Nothing else mattered to them;
Relishing heartily in absolute silence,
Words didn't need to be spoken;
Yearned for long, a moment timeless,
That rhythm cannot be broken,
For that point in time will be cherished
Forever, remembered and never perished.
Cheers!
Hammett
