Peppermint Tea or Black Coffee?

For a quick path to a restful sleep,

And the battle against sleep deprivation,

Take a cup of peppermint tea, for it’s deep

relaxation, if not for just the sensation;

Instead of the usual cup of coffee, black,

I’m getting more used to nightly routine,

Of sipping a cup before hitting the sack;

Usually a cup of peppermint or tea, green.

Morning After Tea

A late night tea, to end your busy day,

With it's aroma, Zazzleberry is in play,

To relax you at night, with the yawning;

A surprising mix of marigold petals,

With vanilla cream, its quite subtle,

To zap your senses with the dawning;

A cup of morning after tea starter,

With rose, strawberry and saff flower,

A deadly combination for the morning.

Whispers of Tea Pot

The pot whispers,

Heart skipped a beat,

Igniting my senses;

Stomach wrapped in pretzels,

Disabling my defences.

Mind lost in thoughts,

Ignoring my pretences;

Soul trapped in phobia,

Delaying my responses.

A cup of tea, can be inspiratory,

In a place, of this tranquility. 

And the cup wonders.
